The following case studies demonstrate how UniHouse designs, delivers, and measures structured capacity development systems aligned with national priorities, labour market demand, and results-based development frameworks — generating verifiable and auditable outcomes through sustainable institutional handover. UniHouse designed and delivered a structured leadership and scholarship system for BP’s Rumaila Oil Field — strengthening workforce capability across technical, operational, and executive functions. Over eight years, 500 professionals and 350 scholars achieved verified competency outcomes, embedding a sustainable national leadership pipeline aligned with Iraq’s long-term energy strategy. UniHouse designed, operationalised, and transferred Iraq’s first public-sector Technical and Vocational Training Centre under the Basra Refinery Upgrading Project. Structured capacity development generated verified competency outcomes across engineering, inspection, operations, and leadership functions — embedding a self-sustaining institutional workforce development system within the South Refineries Company. UniHouse delivered structured infrastructure capacity development across post-conflict Anbar and Ninewa Governorates under the UNOPS LIRA programme. Six labour market-aligned delivery streams strengthened institutional and community capability in infrastructure operations, maintenance, and HSSE compliance — enabling sustainable operation of critical public infrastructure systems. UniHouse designed and implemented a structured MSME development and workforce activation system under the UNDP–Shell Partnership Programme across 21 villages in Basra Governorate. The intervention generated verified business activation outcomes for programme participants — strengthening measurable economic participation through sustainable microbusiness development and institutional coordination. UniHouse delivered end-to-end scholarship programme management for 169 scholars across 14 UK universities under a long-standing partnership with BP — supporting BSc, MSc, and PhD placements in engineering, technology, and finance disciplines. The structured system, governed by SMEF 2.0, built a national succession pipeline aligned with Iraq’s long-term energy workforce priorities. UniHouse delivered structured workforce capacity development across Iraq’s downstream energy sector in Basra.
